Westhill village the caring community - Covid has been a tough time for many in the greater West Willow Village Neighbourhood Group. Last Christmas saw us in the Westhill Village collecting for the local food bank as well as mittons and scarves.

Easter is coming and many are still struggling. Covid has created a difficult environment to collect donations so once again, the Westhill Village is stepping up for the larger community group. Once again, donations of food, money or grocery store certificates will be gratefully accept. They can be dropped off at 3 Westhill Rd. Suggested items are listed below.

The following items are of particular interest

• pasta sauce, we are close to having nothing left
• canned vegetables - green peas, beans, mixed vegetables, please note corn
• canned fruit, anything that can be put into lunches, large cans are fine
• toilet paper
• tuna
• granola bars for kids lunches, peanut free
• cereal
• grocery cards are always welcome and allow flexibilty, this week I ordered 50 units of yogurt for Wednesday's food order!

Also, with Easter just around the corner it might be great if we could provide some goodies etc for the kids. Wednesday's food order!
