Canada Day 2021
This year, the Canada Day celebration continued and was a roaring success for all who attended. Since there was no barbeque this year the money that would ordinarily go that was funnelled into fireworks. In addition, since the games and contests were scaled down, the fewer contests had bigger prizes and again, the extra money left over was pushed into the fireworks.
Much to the amazement of the crowd, every single firework was a Consumer grade firework but the price reflected the quality.
Halloween Parade
Well Covid be damned, the Westhill Village managed to make the best of a bad situation. having received the warm shoutout from the people of Carey Cres Canada Day, the latest event was extended to include the entire village. Up the hill, down the hill from the North end of the Village to the South End of the village, from the Eastern Boundary to the Western Boundary, West Hill Village showed the world we know how to celebrate and how to safely enjoy community even during a pandemic.
